If English is not your first langauge, you will need a recognised English language qualification to be admitted onto one of our programmes. Typical examples includes GCSE (grade C), TOEFL 550 (in the paper based test with 4.0 on the written test) or 220 (computer based test with 4.0 in the essay component) and IELTS 6.0 (5.5 at least in listening and reading and 5.0 in speaking and writing.)
Certain courses may require higher levels of English e.g. the Business School. Please check with your department when you apply.
