Students whose first language is not English, but who have been taught and examined fully in English throughout their pre-University studies, must provide written evidence which the University may be prepared to accept in place of the normal requirements for a qualification in English Language as listed above. Notwithstanding this provision the University reserves the right to require an applicant to undertake further pre-entry tuition in English language where there is recent evidence that his/her existing level of English falls below the normal minimum standard. This pre-entry tuition can be obtained by attendance at an appropriate pre-sessional programme offered by this University.
