What differentiates your company from other admissions consulting firms?

All of our consultants have admissions committee experience from the most selective business schools. They are either MBAs with admissions committee experience from top business schools or admissions officers with several years of full-time work experience at those same schools. Collectively, we have made over 100,000 accept/reject/waitlist decisions.

You wouldn't call your hair dresser if your child gets sick in the middle of the night and you wouldn't use your dentist to complete your tax returns. Why would you consult someone who doesn't have admissions committee experience on your business school applications? We know exactly what the b-schools are looking to see in your applications. This perspective is what differentiates us and, in turn, the applications of our clients. Simply put, we will maximize your admissions chances at the schools to which you apply.

Why don't you employ Stanford MBAs?

We want to ensure that your consultant has the breadth of knowledge and experience specific to your objectives. Though Stanford MBAs often accompany admissions officers to MBA fairs, they don't actually evaluate applications for their particular school. Our consultants DO have first-hand experience in the decision-making process and, for example, know what actually does make a good, catchy introductory paragraph for an admission essay.

Will I receive an honest assessment of my top-choice admissions prospects?
Absolutely. AdmissionsConsultants values integrity in the client relationship. We can never guarantee admittance to any school. However, we can maximize your chances with your preferred schools by helping you prepare applications, essays, and interview responses that do justice to your unique strengths as an MBA applicant. We cannot stress enough the importance of setting realistic expectations for your top-choice schools.

Can you explain your success rate?

More than 95 percent of our Gold clients gain admission to at least one of their top-choice schools. This has been independently verified by a CPA firm, whose report is available on our website. To date, we know of no other admissions consulting company has produced a comparable report, not even the premium-priced niche consultancies that work with fewer applicants than we do.

Does the success rate differ among your consultants?

No, they all have similarly successful rates. We could not maintain an overall success rate in excess of 95 percent if any of our consultants were too far below that rate. From year to year, there are small variations among our consultants, but it can usually be attributed to a client load with several members having low GMAT scores or other critical weaknesses who, against the advice of their consultants, applied only to top-tier MBA programs.

Our consultants bring diverse background in business to the table. Some have marketing careers, others have finance and consulting backgrounds, and others have combined backgrounds in business and law. Yet, the common denominator among all of them is their admissions committee experience from top-tier business schools.

Why do you only hire consultants with admissions committee experience?

Because we believe that only these people have the requisite level of knowledge and insight into various admissions models, admissions formulae, and the psychology of the admissions process. These individuals have already made hundreds, if not thousands, of accept/reject/waitlist decisions at top business schools.

Why don't you give a free initial consultation?

Free time is not free. It's a marketing tool to drum up additional business. We hit the ground running, so much so that we've had clients get enough advice out of their first hour that they didn't need us anymore. We are respectful of our clients' and our consultants' time. We provide individualized, actionable advice from the get go. If you get enough out of the initial consultation and don't require additional services, that's great. Our consultants are not equity holders in the company and they have no incentive to sell you on work for applications you don't need. Everything is set up to be aligned with your best interests.

Why do you hit full capacity? Can't you hire more consultants?

We hit full capacity because we have a maximum 72 hour turnaround time including holidays and weekends. If we hired more consultants, then we would be working with more applicants. Given the large number of applicants we successfully help each year, we believe that if we worked with any more, our clients would begin competing against each other and we have no interest in compromising our integrity.

Where can I find profiles on all your consultants?

Because our consultants hit full capacity, we do not post their profiles on the website. We would be constantly taking down the profiles of consultants who had hit full capacity or re-posting the profiles of consultants who became available again. (Heck, it is a logistical problem just to track it internally without regard for html formatting!)

Can you tell me about your proprietary database?

In addition to the strong body of collective knowledge of our MBA-admissions consultants, who have served on admissions committees for top full-time, part-time, EMBA, and European schools, we also track the results of our clients' applications. We work with a statistically significant number of applicants to each of the top schools. Analyzing our clients' acceptance rates increases our knowledge of schools' admissions patterns, such as preferences for specific story themes, the most optimal application rounds to target, and even degrees of flexibility with GMAT scores.

Why do your fees seem low?

Well, we're neither the cheapest nor the most expensive service. We are, however, the only one that has the CPA-verified success rate posted on our website for all to see. We really enjoy what we do and if we did charge significantly more, we wouldn't be able to work with nearly as many applicants. This would mean we wouldn't have the specialists and we wouldn't have the large proprietary database. Without these two crucial elements, we would not have our very high success rate.

Will you write essays for me?

A key step in the admissions process is when admissions committees determine whether, and how, your character reflects the school's values. Essays are a critical component in this evaluation. Essays therefore need to illustrate your unique personality, your admissions objectives, and your writing style. For that reason, no one but you can write your essays.

We are happy, however, to give guidance on how to draw out your strengths in your essays, and to edit for grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure. Essay assistance services are included in the application fee.

"If the school feels any part of the application is not the student's own work, they are immediately disqualified," stated Robert Alig, former director of admissions and financial aid at Wharton.

Most schools follow similar policies. Keep in mind, too, that submitting someone else's writing or even a canned outline would deprive you of an important chance to tell the admissions committee who you are. What can set you apart from thousands of other applicants is the content and quality of your essays AND the degree to which they reflect and highlight your nature – not that of some stranger.

What payment options do you offer?

We appreciate the financial investment you are about to make as you pursue your MBA. Our aim is to make the process easier and less stressful for you. That said, we offer two payment plans for our consulting services: Hourly Rate: Our MBA school admissions services bill at an hourly rate of $150. A minimum consultation of one hour is required. Moreover, you pay only for the services (hours) you desire. Fixed Fee Rate: Our fixed-fee rate applies to a fixed-fee package on three, five, or seven applications. What does this mean for you?

Depending upon which package you choose, you will receive comprehensive counseling including unlimited essay revisions and support throughout the application season at affordable rates. For example, if you choose the Platinum package at a fixed rate of $3,795, we will assist you with seven applications including resume review, letter of reference assistance, interview preparation and everything in between plus two mock interview sessions with two different consultants as well as unlimited waitlist assistance. Do I have to work with a consultant who lives near me?

No. While we do have consultants across the US, two in Europe, and one in Beijing China, we are structured to provide seamless consulting services by utilizing all communication mediums.
