推荐人和你的关系，一般填Professor, Teacher or Advisor。

2.Permanent Residents

指的是拥有永久居留权，即绿卡。

Permanent address填父母的地址。Temporary address填现在的住址，比如学校，但需注明何时终止。如果你不注明，通常I-20会邮寄到permanent address。或者在Permanent address处填写你现在宿舍的地址，在temporary address处填写你租用的信箱的地址。v' K6 r9 P9 s' z"

如果你和某个教授联系过，可以填上教授的名字，不会有坏处。对于有些学校的一些系，这项是非常重要的，需要注意。

如果你申请全额奖学金，就不需要填写这一项，或者多少填一些，也可以填＄0。

6.Ethnicity 种族，中国学生可以不填写。

GPA的通常算法为将所有课程的成绩转化成4分制，然后按照学分加权平均。Upper division work GPA指后两年的GPA。

一般说来都是针对美国公民的，而且一般说明是optional,可填可不填。

Major指专业，比如CS；Specialization指研究方向，比如Programming Languages.

Primary-secondary-tertiary,所以tertiary等于college education（包括研究生教育）。
