请教一句话

看了半天也没理解，这是啥意思啊？
For many people, household labor remains demanding even if they can afford household appliances their grandparents would have found miraculous.

主要是最后那个miraculous,奇迹？不可思议的？不可思议的啥？

可是， 这话怎么这么奇怪呢，家庭劳动是过分的要求，和祖父母认为奇怪的家庭设备是可以负担的，这中间有什么关系呢？有什么可即使的呢？::p3

立刻把所有英汉词典烧掉！miraculous 怎么会是“奇怪”？！这句话的意思就是：

We now have a lot of household appliances that help us in housework.  If our grandparents were to see these appliances, they would have thought the appliances were miracles.  However, even though many people can afford to have such appliances, they still find household work a chore.
