When it comes to the question that what characteristics are most important to be good co-workers, I can come up with a lot of personalities, like funny, generous, easy-going, hard-working, and so forth. After a serious consideration, I argue that all the following characters play important roles in being a good co-worker, and these characters are team spirit, hard-working, easy-going.-Z Z ] h(e B$]%l%Z
In the first place, team spirit is one of the most important characters to be a nice co-worker. Nowadays, we live in a world where people work in companies, groups, organization. Put it in another way, we have to work with some other people. In this case, team spirit is of great significance, because we all work together as a team to finish a program. For example, when some workers are doing a research program together, and the deadline is quite near. However, one of the team members cannot finish his job on time, because he comes across a lot of difficulties. If his team memers have team spirit, they will help him to get out of the dilemma. The worker being helped will appreciate others help and they are more likely to help others in the coming future. All this makes the atmosphere in the office more harmonious. Or, the whole team will be fail in this program. The client will not only be disappointed, but also they will ask for compensation. Then the team will not be able to make profit. 5h1n_l m z6e L~
Secondly, hard-working is also a very important character to be a good co-worker. People who posses this character has the ability to work day and night during busy moment, and I am sure that this enables them to finish job on time with high quality. For instance, if the deadline of a program is coming, however, the workers in the program don't want to work for extra hours because they are lazy and not hard-working. The result would be that they fail the program, and the whole group will have a bad reputation for this. After all, they might not be able to get programs anymore. As a result, I think hard-working makes a co-worker perfect. In another case, if some people are lazy, and they don't go to work on time, for instance, they are the last to come to the office, while the first to leave the office, even tease others during work time. But they can even earn the same amount of money as others do. Then, other workers might begin to think that, " If they don't work hard and earn so much money? Why should I work hard?" Everyone would be unwilling to make an all-out effect to complete their job. The strength of the whole team will be whittled. Can you imagine the serious result of this while they are undergoing so fierce competition with other hard-working groups? _3{0znX&N8`

Last but not least, a good co-worker would also be easy-going. If a co-worker is easy-going, then his members would be willing to talk with him, like discussing problems they come across during working period, exchanging ideas about their programs, and as far as I am concerned, if they share their opinions enough, they will become close, and will becoming more likely to help each other in difficult times. If people are not easy-going, their team members might not want to exchange ideas with them. This will make them isolated from other workers in the team. As time goes by, the gap between them becomes deep and deep. How dangerous is this if a team can't work as a team? Team spirit will be weaken in this condition. This will lead to some chain effects in the negative direction.

Considering all the factors discussed above, we can draw a conclusion safely that team spirit, hard-working, easy-going make a good co-worker. Only if people are in possession of these good characters, they can work with others in harmony, treat each other nicely like friends, and most importantly, they can finish their work in high efficiency.
