Invest in yourself

Take control of your continuing education and personal growth .Every 6 months,give yourself specific learning goals,and include 3 on your performance dashboard.Then design a plan to achieve each goal .Don't focus only on improving your weak spots;concentrate on your strong areas as well .Your natural talents are tremendous assets .Recognize them and maximize what you do well .
Look at your current job .List the skills you need to do the career ladder ,what new skills are necessary for the job you want ?Do you need to make more presentations or do a barget for the first time ?List the skills you need to learn .
Write 3 improvement goals for the next 6 months ,two that will improve the performance in your current position ,and one that will help you got promoted to your next job .At least one of those goals should focus on one of your strengths.7i N)c#zSY
Next ,brainstorm on how to improve those 3 skills ,Get training if it's available.Identify a person who excels in a skill you've targeted and ask for help.If possible ,volunteer for a project team that has a top -level performer .Working with exceptional person will help raise you to their level .Figure out ways to strech your skills inside and outside of work .Commit the plan to paper .
Too often people wait for their boss to tell them what skills they need .This is a stunning abdication of responsibility.Look in the mirror.Take the responsibility and invest in yourself .Your knowledges ,skills and experience are your professional assets .Manage their development with purpose .

good! I like to learn some skill actively! But i think the first we must have interested in it, then we can learn it very quickly. In face, to work with the experiential people can impove the skill very fast. But we should learn how to learn it from the others, because it is not everyone that will tell you what he understand. another i think to find the answer and information by internet is also a good way to learn a skill, and maybe in the internet , people is more selfless than in real life.3P${l\,K+R

my point is that it's unnecessary to learn lots of skills deliberately.the most important is you are proficient in something,and strengthen what you are good at forever,that's proficiency.another is common,it means you have many skills,but just in the junior phase.there is a long distance to reach senior.whatever we have own choice.
