E 错因为 to cost less 是接上 will be able 的（因为那个 to）。而 will be able to cost less 不对，应该是 will cost less。

你的那个链接帖子讲的是定语从句额。这题貌似考的不是这个，总之根据主谓逻辑关系就能确定是在D与E里选。
为什么“will be able to cost less 不对，应该是 will cost less”？有什么逻辑上的不对吗？语法上没什么不对额。。 你没有看到我在那里说 D 也不对？
will be able to cost less 不对是语用不对，逻辑也不对。will be able to 是非常主动性的，后面跟着的动词是动态动词，不能是 cost 这样的静态动词。
