like if u fell sleep when u,re driving ,,,,,,,,when u wake up..there still nobody in the high way>
............I dun,t like Canada(::z3 ::51 just my point) Canada is a pretty big country. The culture varies from place to place enough that I can't really speak for anywhere outside my locale. I do know quite a bit about its cultures and geography having grown up in Eastern Canada so I could answer specific questions if you have any. Because I grew up in a rural French setting that was occupied by the English before Canada was Canada I would probably have a quite different view of urban English Canada than everyone else here, or even most other Canadians for that matter. So, I would expect my Canada to be extraneous, but I'll try to be helpful. i am in canada now.
if u want to know more stuff about canada u can go to the canadian life section of taisha bbs...:)d$X+wSqH? p
canada is just ok i think. ppl here are very nice...:) many chinese ppl as well...but in winter, it's pretty cold and very very windy...::13

Vancouver has been ranked top3 in the world in term of best city to be living at for years. _v+K`aD
Calgary has been ranked #1 in the world as the cleanest city three times in the last 5 years, and other 4 Canadian cities all reached top 25 in this catagory.W!CWa I

There is lots of countryside and rural scenery if you're into that. I personally find cities to be quite ugly but I'm told some in Canada are relatively nice. Outside of the cities and towns the natural landscape is left mostly intact. There's quite a bit of geographic diversity so every province offers something. If it's good for traveling or not, I guess, would depend on what you want to see.回复 #15 PigHead3 的帖子
::z1 :loveliness: yup.........thank u~ freezing... Never been there, but I assume that u;re probably gonna have to deal with the ABOUT-ABOOT thing, I noticed that some people in Canada pronounce certain words differently, they pronounce it ABOOT instead of ABOUT, and HOUSE, which they say HOOSETW6Ul,VufAI once had a couple of canadian friends here in Beijing and they were ABOOTHING everything lol, apart from that Canada seems to me like a wonderful country full of wonderlful people

I've always heard Americans and the like say that but I've never seen any rationale for it. I have no idea what regions of the US and Canada are involved in that mix up. My exposure to spoken American is more or less limited to TV, but apart from a few clearly distinct accents (like Boston and New York) it sounds the same as broadcast Canadian to me. Perhaps it is a mix-up of rural accents?Another thing is that I've heard "eh?" used as anything but sarcastic maybe once or twice and that is supposed to have come from my end of the country. I've heard "hein?" in English more than that... perhaps they speak english with an accent from another ethnic origin? maybe french? i dontknow!c,Ae/SA `Enx
plus, wouldnt it be interesting to see an american southerner talks to a scott?::z2 i konw shit of canada but i do like&Q;_e#wY#K

It's definitely not French accenting. I've heard plenty of speaker of the two largest dialects of French in Canada speaking English and they don't sound like that. The other dialect is too small to form such a stereotype. The only thing I could kind of guess is that stereotype being from the prairies, which had a large number of Eastern European settlers I believe.回复 #5 PigHead3 的帖子

I kown some people with higher diploma in Canada leave for USA.Are they do it for money?or something else?回复 #28 bubble-gun 的帖子
The reason I hear for that is money, although I don't know if with cost of living factored in it's any better, unless they are working in the US and living in Canada. With the Canadian dollar and US dollar closing in on each other there's not all that great of a monetary incentive now. I would suspect that politics play the biggest reason and money is just a reason given to avoid having to explain oneself. After all, in terms of viable political parties, the US has a right wing one and a far-right wing one. Canada's rightmost viable party is to the left of their leftmost. On top of that, we have a viable socialist party or two that get to influence policy. Leftists are uncomfortable with the US and rightists are uncomfortable with Canada, so they move about if they feel strongly about politics. In this month 19th i will arrive saskatoon页:
