请问为什么要用 lack in(进行时)，不用lack?答案选E，做对了但不解 其实可以用 lack 的。这里不选是因为 A 和 B 都有错。
A 是后面那个 as to 不好，如果改为 that 句就没有问题论了。
B 不妥是因为那个 to a large enough degree 太可憎了。

爱憎分明::z2 谢谢~是不是一般都不会用as to的 As to 不是独用的，通常是 so as to。我的美国朋友说，so as to 有点方言的味道，in order to 更普遍、更舒服。 Students in the metropolitan school district lack math skills to such a large degree as to make it difficult to absorb them into a city economy becominq ever more dependent on information-based industries.such / so as to do sth。do 的动作执行者是主句主语。主句主语是Students，Students使他们变难不对，是lack使他们变难。不能用such / so as to句型 so...as to... 和 so...that... 意思差不多，但是用法不同
so...as to...要求前后的逻辑主语一致
so...that...后面跟从句
A，C，D 前后逻辑主语都不一致， B 的enough 语义不清 becoming做什么成分，是修饰city economy 的吗？ 谁能帮我解惑啊

becoming 前面省略了 that is。加回 that is 后就清楚了。页:
