"Silent Hill Origins" serves as a prequel to the 8-year-old franchise, where the game's protagonist, a truck driver named Travis Grady, steps into the mysterious town of Silent Hill in pursuit of a little girl wandering around the freeway.

9 C" r' T5 y- ~. ?! ^3 d( \  vSony's handheld video game machine, the PlayStation Portable, will connect to Skype, the popular, free voice-over-Internet service, later this month in Japan after a two month delay, the company said Tuesday.2 H" A$ Q( w, Z4 T( y

Now, Marc Ecko Entertainment, the video game production house founded by the fashion designer, has announced plans to create a Dexter game that lets you mete out justice as the forensics expert who is also a vengeance-dealing serial killer. “Our game designers, writers, and artists are going to give Dexter’s morally complex world the kind of interactivity that gamers will love,” said the company’s Marc Fernandez. Thanks to the writers’ strike, CBS began rerunning the cable show, which stars Michael C. Hall as its broadcast network last month.
