以下这些GWD题目在各个论坛里争议很大，至于选择什么答案好像众说纷纭，大家给点儿建议，唉，快考了，万一碰上了呢？

争议A和C，A有人说their错，查了一下monkfish单复数同型；C有人说 which不能指代句子（貌似是ets不喜欢让which指代句子）。到底哪个对呢？

争议B和D，选B的认为claim to do something，但是我自己认为应该是what it claims是主语然后is...所以选D，B里那个which紧跟着world却修饰comcorder,同时weighing的逻辑主语也很模糊。

争议D和E，答案给的是E，有人选E因为appear to make"sound better，但是我自己认为是D，我觉得make应该跟appear并列

第一题 A正确， which不能用作限定性定语从句

第二题 我选C， XDF老师说过除了人用fewer来修饰外 ，其他的都用less来修饰。

第3题 我选D, B中 Which 修饰 world 错误

第四题选E, to make 用来修饰 eliminate 表示去除某种可能性所导致的结果。

争议A和C，A有人说their错，查了一下monkfish单复数同型；C有人说 which不能指代句子（貌似是ets不喜欢让which指代句子）。到底哪个对呢？

A 正确。C 有两处不妥。一个就是那个 which。不是不能指代整个分句，而是因为分句是 cod and haddock 与 monkfish 并重的，所以那个 which contributes to its depletion through overfishing 就讲不通，因为到底是导致哪种鱼数量大减？这不能从语法那里断定。还有就是用 its 不妥，应该用复数。

这题是 C 正确。那些新东方老师真的是英语造诣太低了，乱说话，遗害无穷。

争议D和E，答案给的是E，有人选E因为appear to make"sound better，但是我自己认为是D，我觉得make应该跟appear并列

E 是绝对错的，因为 when the bag inflated to make an already terrified passenger think the car was on fire 的意思就是说气袋膨胀的目的就是要吓人！

其他四个选择也没有一个是对的。正确答案应该是：
New items developed for automobiles in the 1997 model year included a safer air bag, which, unlike previous air bags, eliminated the possibility that a burst of smoke would appear when the bag inflated, which could make an already terrified passenger think the car was on fire.
或是：
New items developed for automobiles in the 1997 model year included a safer air bag, which, unlike previous air bags, eliminated the possibility that a burst of smoke would appear when the bag inflated, making an already terrified passenger think the car was on fire.
