There is no room to doubt that speaking and writing are two indispensible（indispensable） abilities of a person nowadays. And it's one-sided to simply reply the question which of them is more important. As we all know, writing, as a distinction of human beings, usually plays a very important role in many aspects of people's lives.（覺得後面用many前面就不要有usually）First, as a student, writing well help us easily succeed.（用as a student, 又用us好像對不上來）How can a student be pre-eminent in the exam and writing paper if they are in poor writing skill?（覺得寫their writing skill is poor會比較好,強調writing skill而不是they）Even in the application of enrolling colleges, the importance of the documents, including the personal statements and the resume, lies in determining the students' future. Turning students' studying to people's working, employees adept in writing usually will easily obtain the appreciation from their boss. Being put in employer's position, everyone hopes thier（their） workers can write good reports, proposals and even contracts. Similarly, writing well can express oneself exactly and sincerely. A（An） affectionate love letter is capable to shoot（of shooting我查字典也是寫be capable of Ving 找不到be capable to 另外有be able to） the other's heart, and a letter from children to parents can drive them in great joy! Consequently, people require skillful writing in many cases.

On the other hand, considerable though advantages of well writing are, that is not to say we can discard leaning speaking skill. Take my own experience of studying English as example. When I start learning it, I focused on reading, writing and listening expect for speaking, because speaking is omitted in exam in elementary school. However being asked road by a foreigner one time, it's one of the most embarrassed time（我覺得有問題但是不知道對不會,one of 後面是不是要接複數名詞,但是改成times對嗎?或是改成experiences） because I could just say several words but not a complete sentence. Even though I made him understand by using gestures at last, I really feel shame. Not until that time did I realize the importance of oral English, especially fluently expressing.（覺得這一句寫Not until that time did I realize that speaking is as important as writing.原句好像只強調說的重要有離題的危險） And this is not unique case. Students will fall in sleep with their teachers' poor skill of speaking; Clients（clients） will not agree with the sellers when they can not convey the advantages of products vividly; Lovers（lovers原句用分號應該用小寫就可以了） will feel unromantic and disappointed with the other's pale words when he is expressing love. In brief, we can not say writing well is important than speaking well.

In conclusion, through what I mentioned above can we notice the remarkable importance of both writing well and speaking well.（這一句我看不太懂） One is probably determinant at a time; however the other is likely required（necessary） at another time. Thus, we'd better value them equally and improve them simultaneously.

這一篇的題目我ㄧ直覺得很怪,,luckymichael提到說寫中立的,我也不覺得這樣是屬於中立的,其實應該說是提出正反雙方之外的第三種想法,另外文章裡想寫the two skills overweigh each other in different situations但是舉例時說服力較不夠,例如老師的例子,也有可能是一位只會說但是不會寫的老師,這樣這位老師在訂正作業時會不會有問題了,較無法顯示出說的好的重要,我覺得如果可以舉出會說不會寫,會寫不會說的失敗例子,再舉出會寫又會說的成功例子會更好.
在很短時間可以寫這樣我覺得很好了,希望luckymichael上考場時也可以獲得好成績,加油.

With the progress of science, we need to prepare ourselves well for the coming challenge. Not only do we get the (我个人建议此处不需要用冠词) knowledge from school, but we also trains our skills of expression including speaking and writing. It is difficult to answer the question which one is more important （than） the other. In my position, I agree that speaking well is more important than writing well for two key reasons.
One reason is that we have to receive something and respond to it instantly when we speak.
Although there is a time limit in writing, we are free to make good use of our time to complete our work. For example, in the TOEFL test, we are asked to write an essay in forty minutes. Some people tend to write an outline while others like to think (about,其实我也不太清楚要不要加about) some examples first. On the contrary, in the oral part, we must react immediately as fast as possible. (我觉得既然你的观点是speak well 更重要，但这一段关于speak well 的强调的不是很突出，和write 相比只是最后一句话，我觉得太单薄了。我觉得这里可以分享的一个好例子就是negotiating, international trade negotiation, political negotiation等，要respond immediately , pertinently and reasonably. 呵呵，自己觉得挺好，但好像我也没用上哈~)
The other reason is that we almost have no help when we are speaking（我大概能懂你想说什么，但不知道老外能懂吗？其他的组员看看有没有更好的表达？）. Dictionaries as well as computers give us a big hand to write well. Well, the statement appears truely under some circumstances like a job interview or a casual meeting with people when we are asked to demonstrate and communicate orally. However, it’s not likely you can speak well without equipping with adequate writing skills since ora and writing practices are always inseparable in any language. Thus as a whole, I believe that speak well is as vital as write well.


It is proved that 90%(ninety percent)
of our communication with others are  conducted by conversations. In deed, we communicate with others mostly through words from mouth rather than words in white and black in daily life. It’s not likely that we show our neighbours a board with “good morning” on when we meet them or response others questions with a piece of paper full of sentences. For example, before involving in a face-to-face interview, we are asked to send a CV or resume which stated our general information. At this point, before(这里又用before引导哈，可以换换句式) showing off our fluent and coherent oral skills, we need to convince the employer through those lines that we are exactly the ones they need. Only have we successfully accomplished this task, we will have a chance to get the passport to the next level. Thus we are free to persuade them through our tongue.



Moreover, writing helps(is helpful) to enhance our speaking skills. In an elaborate way, it serves to a rhetoric purpose. When we write down those clutter thoughts running through our mind, we are actually execute a rearrangement of which trims off irrelevant ideas at the same time keeps those necessary ones. This is the reason why most public speakers write down the speech prior(形容词，换成before或者加to+动原) he/she delivers it to the community.


Speaking and writing are equally important as they serve to different situations. And for a whole, they are an integrate part of one language. Since writing and speaking are regarded as output processes whereas the other two factors, reading and listening are input processes. These four skills are applied to anyone who wish to commuicate（communicate） smoothly in a language, and that is why I am sitting here writing this paper which tests (on） my writing skills(哈这最好一句很有个性的啊).

一直都有争论要不要写中立观点，我倒觉得写中立的观点是可以的，你的这篇的结构和论点就很明确，不失为一篇好文。就是注意细节，马虎而要不影响我们的分数就太亏了！哪里要是改的不对请指出来啊，谢谢！

For ambitious politicians, making speeches is almost the most influential and direct way of propaganda, for an inspiring and emotional address helps to assure them of more votes. Therefore politicians spare no efforts to present their voters one after another excellent（呃..我的WORD没有提示语法错误呃, 不过我也没发现有什么语法错误啊..）speech on their political views. And the scene that the listeners always get extremely excited while acclaiming to their supports makes one believe that speak well is very important, and perhaps more significant than write well. Anyway, has a voter witnessed a great speaker addressing to his auditors loudly by reading from a manuscript? Nevertheless, I cannot agree with that.

It is plausible to say to speak well is more important than to write well were it not for two factors(不懂什么意思,两个谓语? because of two factors)(还有这句话的表意我感觉有点含糊呃). First, writing well severs as a solid basis for speaking well. Almost behind every successful speech there is a manuscript well prepared beforehand. The second factor is much fundamental and practical. Writing well, to scholars and students it means to present their research results in a organized, coherent way so that their jobs can be easily understood and then probably be highly appreciated; to a writer, it means to describe his/her idea or story in an attracting rather than a messy way in order to catch readers' eyes. And to other people, many things in daily life like an invitation card, a letter for apology or gratitude also place a high standard on writing skills. Therefore, the importance of writing skill definitely should not be underestimated.

To sum up, speaking well, a skill demanded in almost every filed, such as politics, business, international communication, trade negotiation and so on has been playing a vital role nowadays. However, it does not necessarily mean it is more important than writing well,(建议去掉逗号) an equally important and indispensable skill in modern times. Speaking and writing are two indispensable abilities of people. One may meet many troubles without these basic skills. And now, some people think to speak well is more important. The other people agree that to write well is more necessary（括号前两句之间可用,while做转折连接,其后the首字母小写）. From my view of that, I support the former idea. The reasons for my opinions go as follows.
First of all, the major reason, also the most important reason（also the most important reason是不是可以用一下非限制性定语从句，不然两个短语成句，且都是reason，感觉不是好的表达方式）, is that the ability of speaking is the most useful（可不可以不加the?总感觉加了the后面要跟名词了，不知道大家的想法） for people’s daily life. People need to communicate with each other（others比较具有普遍性吧，三个以上的另一个是不是太狭窄了？比如下面用的speak to others） to express their thinking. So they choose to speak to others instead to write（instead of?）, because speaking is the most direct and efficient way to convey and receive information from others（礼尚往来，觉得convey在这应该是将自己的思想输送、灌输给人家的意思，后面的from应该只能照顾到receive）. Take the deaf persons for（我不确定应不应该是as） an example, as a result of that they can’t hear anything they can not speak（第一遍 读是的时候confused，as a result of后面可以用短语的形式，比如“听力的丧失”，用lack之类的，不然they can not do连续出现，头晕有点^_^）. Although they can write, they must learn the skill of sign language（前面的the skill of可以删感觉，毕竟sign language本身的意义很明确了 ） to talk（要不要加双引号？） with each other with their hands. The sign language can be seemed as the speaking ability of the deaf persons. And today, there still are a large number of illiteracies. They can not read and write for they can not identify letters. But they live comfortably（总觉得comfortably怪怪的，总不会是很舒服的吧？可以换成没有障碍什么的，不然影响价值观了^_^） by communication using speaking（communicating with speaking?因为我不知道using这样插在中间合适不合适）. Not knowing how to write doesn’t matter their life.（it doesn’t matter后面能直接跟名词短语吗？觉得不行，貌似它都是单独成句的。 ）
Besides, a person’s connotation can be more completely demonstrated by an excellent speaking capacity. Some people can chain（chain表示连结的用法很具体，就是把两个东西拴在一起【防止被盗】，organize好些） many graceful words together to a beautiful article, while they can not express themselves clearly by oral statement. Why this phoneme（是想说现象吧？phenomenon, not phoneme） occurs? The reason I think（这个表达是不是有点中式了？点对点翻译过来的） is that when they write article（plural.?）, they always have lots of time to allow them（他们有很多的时间，去允许他们。。。是不是啰嗦了？在主语是they的情况下） thinking roundly and deeply. Also they can check their paragraph（plural.?）（check sth<->over，单独的check sth似乎不能表示检查、核实） repeatedly and make revision till the article is perfect. But oral statement doesn’t give them such time to think over. They have to speak out by their first responses in their mind. And these responses show a real mind and connotation of one person. However（不知道这里为什么要用however，应该是进一步说明，用个递进或除此之外比较好，只是建议^_^）, the one with outstanding oral expression ability can also write well. This kind of person always has a strong logical ideation.
Finally, the one speaking well will be more competitive in today’s social（society?）. Nowadays, learning to market one himself/herself（虽然中文是说推销自己，但是market是不是可以以人为对象？有待商榷，词典英文解释没有，总感觉market是很直观的买卖市场） becomes more and more significant. As above mentioned, speaking is the most direct way to express one’s mind. Consequently（不知道是不是有这样一种说法
