B 才是正确答案。

b 不妥，应为as well 和also是重复的，用法很奇怪。c 中， do shopping、 do not buy、 leave 是三个并列的谓语， 由but 作为连接，结构清晰。

C 那里不能用 but 来连接三个分句的。

C 是这样的：Shoppers in sporting goods stores, unlike those in department stores, do very little impulse shopping, do not buy a pair of skis and a boomerang when they come in for a basketball, but leave with only a basketball.  这里的 do very little impulse shopping 内容是原则性的，而后面 do not buy a pair of skis and a boomerang . . . 是一个例子，所以性质和前面分句不同。另外，如果看 but 是三个分句的连接，这不是正确的用法。but 只能连接两个成份，连不起三个的。例如不能说 He is kind, generous, but annoying. 原因是因为 but 要和前面的形容成份相反。如果三个成份只有最后一个有连词，通常的意义是在第二个成份那里省略了同一个连词。例如 He is kind, generous, and funny. 就是 He is kind and generous and funny. 可是如果是 He is kind, generous, but annoying.，那就不可能是 He is kind but generous but annoying，因为那个 kind but generous 不对。正是为此，三个成份不能用 but 来连接的。
