7 b) E/ }8 z: }7 G% }' t) E$ W% Q1 D; g; d% z* y
Paragraph 5:
+ y) J% K1 Z$ f5 M% `% R( a: v8 Y+ G) ]9 _$ i3 C: p6 q% C2 P
…… The problem is that enforcement of these requirements is often lax, and great differences in the quality of the food being served can be found. Some poorer schools count ketchup as a vegetable, while in higher income areas, the vegetables are often spinach, kale, or some other dark leafy green. The higher quality greens provide added iron……. 问题:
7 t( m5 i  }# s4 hIn paragraph 5, the author suggests that ketchup is NOT:4 C* J' y# y3 Y1 S) O
……2 z6 Z+ A" p4 y, k( j9 o, \9 D
(C) usually served in more affluent schools
7 }  }. ]# ]: R( Q(D) always considered a vegetable
5 T3 U- m* n2 j1 a- B1 f3 b$ C. A9 O8 `3 Z- M
7 x6 o8 H/ u; g' ?4 X5 Q. Y' q(D) is correct. The author contrasts the use of ketchup as a vegetable in poor schools with the use of dark leafy green vegetables in higher income areas.+ c7 |+ h5 r5 g2 ^# w% h# ?+ O
(C) is attractive because the author implies that ketchup is not a true vegetable. However, nothing is said about excluding it from affluent schools.
1 G, t) R7 m4 _% b8 f. }6 T5 `: _
1 \  J7 h3 X* T! p, T8 ~) ~& s既然前面的“great differences in the quality of the food”和后面的“The higher quality greens”都强调了食物质量不同,所以ketchup可能只是一种低质量的蔬菜,好学校不用不见得不认为ketchup是蔬菜。

q+ U7 O, V6 x0 P
0 d* L: w0 j) J1 \) C% a
