题目
It is now possible to perform everyday tasks as banking, shopping and business transactions without meeting people face-to-face. What are the effects it may bring on the individual and the society as a whole?

Nowadays, we have no necessity to deal with many everyday tasks face-to-face,as result of invention of phones, computers, etc. Somebody is afraid that this phenomenon may be harm to the society as a whole, but I have extinct idea that there’re not enough evidences to prove “somebody”’s conclusion.
The society is made into one in interaction or communication, meeting is just one of which. More exactly, “face to face” is only one of interpersonal communication, which includes talking by phone, writing letters, communicating on web, and so on. even if as a mode of communication , “face to face” would disappear some day ,I don’t think all the society will be destroyed either, because it just means a certain way is abandoned, which has nothing with the state and situation of all the society logically, and at that time ,we must have other more efficient ways to interact.
As we know, the phenomenon that meeting becomes fewer and fewer is created with technology developing, which also makes space for human activities expanded. long time ago, It’s incredible to talk with somebody on the opposite hemisphere, but nowadays, if you miss your relatives in America or Canada, just call it! Besides, making friends on web is more and more popular. Most of us are clients of facebook ,MSN or QQ, and e-mail has nearly become eveyone’s basical communicative tool. the world is becoming into stronger one, not be collapsed, although we have already tended to no” face to face” for sure.
The society is a whole all the time since it exists, and it’s impossible it is separated into different parts which have no relationship with each other ,because as scholars on communication study in Chicago University saying, “we cannot have no commutation”!
