I might be tempting agree with the speaker's assertion that the most beneficial part of studying history is to make us realize the fact that people in any period of time are the same. However, as technology develops, man's lives and psychology change; simultaneously, there are many other truth we can learn when researching the history.

As universally acknowledged that society and technology are changing rapidly, and they affect human’s lives distinctly, especially in two realms--business, education.

As times alter, business changes remarkably. Firstly, the way of trade is totally different from any other time in history. In ancient times, people exchanged things to do business, later on; money appeared which open a new era for business history. And nowadays, civilians use cards to shop; money turns to be numbers in our bank accounts. Secondly, developed technique make available for us to bargaining with merchants all over the world, which is out of imagination of our ancestors, while in early times people can just deal with dealers in the neighborhood. Thirdly, our attitude towards shopping changed. As we have abundant choices of goods and ways in doing business, shopping is not just a basic need for living but turn out to be a pleasure in lives for some people.

As to education, changes in system of society and technology make it vary from before. In the earliest time, people have no idea of education, later on in feudalism, only patrician can be educated and they were taught mostly at home by private teachers, while,
today children go to school to study in class and are taught by shared teachers. Simultaneously, technology development makes more knowledge available for students to learn and provide more types of teaching methods. Previously, teachers can only impart knowledge face to face using voice and painted pictures, in comparison, students nowadays are much more lucky since they can learn through the internet whenever and wherever they want, and they can not only listen to teachers' speeches, watch teacher's pictures but only be able to download teacher's course wares and absorb what teachers have taught better.

Another point is that, there are some significant episteme we can benefit from the research of the history. The most consequential one is that we can learn from abortive experiences to avoid those errors, in that way we can save time to make more contribution and reduce the lost in those failures. Another point is that, history figures like Confucius whose thoughts and ideas about humanity and lives has cultivated so many generations, can be regard as out spiritual leaders. The last but not the least important on me think is that when comparing our nation's history and other nations', we can be more aware of characteristics of our own culture.

We can benefit a lot from history but not the point as the speaker claimed that history can make us realize the fact that people in any period are fundamentally the same. As times alter, people change significantly, what our lives will be like in the future, we can only wait and see.

As universally acknowledged that societyand technology are changing rapidly, and they affect human’s livesdistinctly, especially in two realms--business, education. [TS 这样写很有启发意义]

As times alter, business changesremarkably. Firstly, the way of trade is totally different from anyother time in history. In ancient times, people exchanged things to dobusiness, later on; money appeared which open a new era for businesshistory. And nowadays, civilians use cards to shop; money turns to benumbers in our bank accounts. Another point is that, there are somesignificant episteme[这个词用的很强!] we can benefit from the research of the history. The most consequential one is that we can learn from abortiveexperiences to avoid those errors, in that way we can save time to makemore contribution and reduce the lost in those failures. Another pointis that, history figures like Confucius whose thoughts and ideas abouthumanity and lives has cultivated so many generations, can be regard asout spiritual leaders.

换一个吧,有点重复了) history figures like Confucius whose thoughts and ideas about humanity and lives has cultivated so many generations, can be regard as out spiritual leaders. The last but not the least important on me think is that when comparing our nation's history and other nations', we can be more aware of characteristics of our own culture.(继续说啊,感觉没说完似的)

We can benefit a lot from history but not the point as the speaker claimed that history can make us realize the fact that people in any period are fundamentally the same. As times alter, people change significantly, what our lives will be like in the future, we can only wait and see.
(意味深长啊~~~
