about the culture of your country?" I would like to introduce myself. I

In my opinion, the music tells us a lot of a culture, and someone could 0 x R4 i5 S5 u, d. U$ X
learn a lot from the spanish culture just listening to music in her room.
+ ~ p+ K2 f' D& J4 L6 F4 i0 }9 wBut it is not easy to collect a representative sample of the spanish music,
4 i# Y h) M& Lbecause of the enormous variety, every region of Spain has its own music, 6 {. C5 O7 ]! v8 J) ~* M
that sounds completely different from the rest, and even for some regions
z, Z# a$ _ e' b+ n3 `2 A0 d( rthere are more than one type of tipical music. This variety is very important 6 D/ _' O$ |2 H
because shows that Spain is a counry of countries, each one with a particular . E5 @: m0 H/ _$ U) x
personality.
& m& c$ x* }( b& hIt is very interesting to discover the different personality of the spanish 1 F$ f( K9 M' a6 ~1 M
regions, just listening how their music sounds like. For example, in the

sense of humor. In this part of Spain you can find mainly two kinds of music: / w8 h! I, |) G' J9 f, p
the Flamenco and the Sevillanas. Sevillas have completly the personality U( f# D' g$ o: O: ] ^
of andalusian people, it is very cheerful. However, Flamenco sounds sad
) k P2 V4 L6 c2 d/ D" |and deep. The reason is that although andalusian people have a good mood, ! `0 x# G; H% c
they live in one of the poorest part of Spain, and they express their pain 9 b; V+ n% ?0 w. Y0 _9 f
through the flamenco music.

In Singapore, our music is diverse and blended. By listening to our

to the fact that Singapore is a multiracial country and as such, the identity

# f3 W, P# k2 f/ Runderstanding of our culture. Music is used for many different aspects of

music with storytelling.

are made from natural materials, such as wood, animal skin, stones. This

to imitate in some ways the birds, or the mamals, like the wolf or the bear.

So, in some way, you can find clues about someones cultre from his country

We can listen various countries' music everyday. For example, when we turn

These facts are taking bad influence about Japanese music instruments.

of music. But i am a chinese , so i intend to listen more chinese music.
